Year after year, the Prodigy Camp equips young talented musicians with the skills and knowledge they need to be the best in their field. By demanding of them both personal and professional excellence, we are raising the bar for what it means not only to be an influential artist but an influential person. The Prodigy Camp is committed to mentorship, collaboration and in helping each artist find their unique voice in the world. Through the power of storytelling and particularly, the power of telling your own story, the participants of the Prodigy Camp become more than just friends, they become apart of the Prodigy Camp Tribe..

Camp description

Every year a select number of singer/songwriters, ages 13-18, are selected to join The Prodigy Camp in tandem with the Film Program. Directed by Seattle Musician Kris Orlowski, participants are given the opportunity to work one on one with renowned professional musicians, audio technicians, producers and film scorers, to develop their songwriting and storytelling skills, work on solo and collaborative projects, write new material, team up for performances with fellow participants, and professionally record one of their newly written songs. In addition to recording their own song (or in some cases, shoot their own music video), the musicians will join the filmmakers for group events, talent shows, recreation and tell their story around the campfire.

It was a fantastic experience where they met scores of budding artists which really cemented their resolve to become musicians.

Camp reminded me that it is okay to be me. Not to put on a front. Everyone is weird, so be your weird self.
